About Pretty Baked
I'm Tess, the artist behind Pretty Baked. With a background in both beauty retail management and realism art, I bring a unique perspective to cake decorating. My passion lies in creating edible works of art. Combining my love of all things creative with delectable treats, I meticulously craft each cake with an eye for flawless detail. The greatest joy is seeing the look of wonder on a client's face when they see their bespoke cake for the first time.

a cake fit for a king
In November 2023, I had the honour of being invited by the King's Foundation at Dumfries House to create a magnificent cake in celebration of King Charles' 75th birthday for a special luncheon held on the estate. They requested a cake shaped like the number 75, adorned with crowns and incorporating Charles' favourite colours - light blue & purple. It was an extraordinary experience to design a cake that not only represented this significant milestone but also paid tribute to the King's taste. This opportunity allowed me to blend my passion for baking with a celebration of royal heritage, making the occasion all the more memorable.
